Dr. Jácint Ferencz

Dr. Jácint Ferencz, attorney, graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Győr division of Eötvös Loránd University, in 2004. In 2003-2004 he studied Business Law (Wirtschaftsrecht) in German with the scholarship of FHTW Berlin and DAAD. From 2004 he was attending the doctoral school at the faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University and completed his studies in 2007. He defended his dissertation in 2014 at the Széchenyi István University with summa cum laude. He is the lecturer of the Széchenyi István University at the Department of Commercial-, Agricultural- and Labour Law of the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law. In 2013 he was the lecturer of the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin in Germany and in 2014 he was a guest lecturer on labour law at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz in Austria.

His comprehensive research topic, which also was the topic of his dissertation, is atypical employment. Moreover, he has made research into equality on the labour market, labour law responsibility and the connections between labour law and economics. He regularly publishes in journals specialising in labour law, he gives lectures, and he is the co-author of university school books and notes. He is the permanent member of the Hungarian Labour Law Association, the Hungarian Lawyer Society, and he has been the chairman of the Committee of Education of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Bar since 2014. He is the member of the Pannonhalma Szent Márton Brotherhod of the Knights of Vine.
